Tinola -Easy recipe for today’s fast-paced lifestyle




Ingredients:


1/2 kilo chicken, sliced                                                  3 cups water
1 Tbsp. ginger, minced                                                  1 tsp. salt
1 medium sized onion, sliced                                         fish sauce, to taste
1 cup, malungay/sili leaves                                             1 tsp. whole peppercorns
1 small sized papaya or sayote, sliced                            2 tsp. cooking oil

Procedure:
[Read all the instruction first to properly prepare kitchen tools and ingredients]
1. Mix salt and chicken.
2. Heat the pan and add cooking oil. Add ginger and onion.
3. Add chicken when onion caramelizes. Mix, then cover for about 10-15 minutes in medium heat.
4. Add water, peppercorns and papaya/sayote. Add fish sauce to taste.
5. Cover and simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
6. Turn off heat, add malungay/sili leaves then cover. Add fish sauce to taste.
7. Now that you know how to cook Tinola, boil water on a separate pan. Read and understand the next two steps then close this cooking guide.
8. Open lid of chicken-flavored instant noodles and pour boiling water up to the indicated line.
9. Wait for about 3 minutes and serve.

gusto ko ng tinola! pero instant noodles lang meron dito! nang-aasar ka ba? waaaah!
